This hands-on role troubleshoots equipment issues, completes maintenance work orders, and supports preventive and predictive maintenance activities to help maintain equipment reliability and plant performance.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and maintain site mechanical equipmentUnderstand basic electricity and electrical controls, specifically 110V, to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipmentComplete, revise and create maintenance work orders using the plant CMMSActively engage in preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment and facilitiesMaintain inventory of critical and general plant spare partsWork independently with minimal direction and oversightArea of Responsibility 2: Coordination and ComplianceSupport maintenance and reliability of site facilities, equipment and instrumentsReport to work as scheduled and fit for dutySafety & EnvironmentLead by example in maintaining a proactive safety culture and following all safety guidelines and site rulesQuality AssuranceEnsure maintenance activities are documented accurately and consistentlyMaintain proper handling of equipment and materials to support operational quality standardsSupport ISO 9001, 14001, and Responsible Care programsRequirements & Qualifications EssentialHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment, chemical industry experience desirableBasic computer skillsWilling to work overtime when neededAbility to serve on the on-call rotation and respond to calls when necessaryAbility to lift 55 lbs regularly, lift 110 lbs occasionally and exert 100 lbs of force as neededAbility to climb, balance, kneel, bend, reach, stand, walk, lift and carry during work activitiesAbility to wear a respirator and other PPEDesirableApprenticeship, trade school or equivalent educationJourneyman's CertificateExperience with fabrication, pneumatics, steam piping, and pump repairWork EnvironmentCombination of plant, mechanical and outdoor work environments with exposure to equipment and industrial conditionsPhysical activity including walking, climbing, lifting and navigating operational areasKey CompetenciesMechanical troubleshootingPreventive and predictive maintenanceElectrical fundamentals (230/460 experience is preferred)CMMS documentationSafety and compliance awarenessTime managementIndependence and reliabilityReady to take the first step?
