Maintenance TechnicianMaster Level- responsible for ensuring that the assigned department(s) are maintained in good working order in a manner that prevents disruption of the site's operation and in accordance with OSHGA safety standards.The Maintenance Technician ensures implementation of short- and long-term strategies for preventive maintenance scheduling and execution, for timely corrective maintenance actions, and for general site maintenance needs.Essential qualifications and skills:11+ years of mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience20+ years in plumbing, electrical, and structuresExperience with and oversees and participates in the maintenanceKnowledge of equipment including machinery, building, computer systems, safety and security systemshydraulic systemsStrong background in electro-mechanical processMust be resourceful and apply critical thinking skills in problem solvingKnowledge and understanding functions of how boiler's operation and maintenanceSome experience of automatic processing systemAbility to operate a computer using MD ProductsPhysically capable and available to work some weekends and/or varied shiftsSome knowledge of PLC's and HMIsDocument any issue and create new work ordersPLC, capable of edits, design, and repairUnderstanding of how to adjust the programReview technical drawings, and schematicsTesting electronics and basic digital electronicsUnderstanding the difference between AC/DC when troubleshootingHigh School diploma or GEDMust be able to work at a fast paceLifting and carrying up to 25 lbsPushing and pulling up to 40 lbs.Other duties as assignedFull time
