Join our team in Bolingbrook, IL, where you'll play a critical role in maintaining and improving our coil processing operations.In this role, you'll work directly with specialized equipment including coil slitters, coil packaging lines, traverse winders, forklifts, and other material handling systems. We're looking for a proactive, safety-focused technician who doesn't just fix problems, but spots opportunities to prevent them before they happen.If you thrive in a team-oriented environment, enjoy making equipment run at peak performance, and take pride in keeping operations efficient and safe, we'd like to meet you.What You'll DoTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment.Support critical coil processing operations, including maintenance of:Coil slittersCoil packaging linesTraverse windersMaterial handling equipmentForklifts and related systemsPerform and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.Identify potential equipment failures before they impact production and recommend corrective actions.Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired equipment.Complete facility and building maintenance projects as needed.Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and repair documentation.Coordinate with and oversee outside contractors performing maintenance and repair services.Partner with operations teams to improve equipment performance, safety, and productivity.Support Lean manufacturing, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Perform all work safely while following company policies and PPE requirements.What We're Looking ForExperience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment in a production environment.Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems.Experience working with coil processing equipment such as slitters, rewinders, packaging systems, or similar machinery preferred.Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.Forklift operating experience and familiarity with forklift maintenance programs.Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to equipment reliability.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Ability to work on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery and industrial equipment.Why Join Us?$33.35 - $45.12 per hourMonthly Gainshare opportunity up to $731 per monthCollaborative team environmentModern manufacturing operationOpportunity to make a direct impact on equipment reliability and plant performanceStable company with a strong commitment to safety and employee successIf you're a maintenance professional who enjoys solving complex equipment challenges and keeping operations running at their best, apply today and become part of a team where your expertise makes a difference every day.The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
