Maintenance Tech II - 3rd ShiftQuanex is looking for a Maintenance Tech II - 3rd Shift to join our team located in Cambridge, OH.The Maintenance Technician will ensure robust operation of equipment through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.3rd Shift: 10pm to 6am (Monday thru Friday) Hourly Rate: $34-$40/hr. commensurate with experience + shift differential with bonus potentialWe Offer You!Competitive SalaryBonus Potential401K with 5% company match, yours to keep after 2 years15% immediate return if you participate in the company's ESPPMedical, Dental & Vision PlansEmployer paid disability plans and life insurancePaid Time Off & HolidaysVarious Work SchedulesTuition support for degree and continuous educationEmployee Resource Groups focused on employee empowermentWhat's Attractive about the Maintenance Technician?Supportive and collaborative cultureTenured team of leaders and peers to provide support and trainingGrowth PotentialWhat Success Looks Like:Performing general maintenance of all equipment.Assisting in the implementation of new equipment and equipment improvements.Performing thorough work and follow-through on the repairs through feedback from internal customers.Communicate with other maintenance personnel and line workers to solve equipment issues and perform sustainable solutions.Must be able to diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V.Must know how to properly use a digital voltmeter (DVM).Continually coordinate equipment updates, and operational issues with off shift maintenance personnel and other team members as needed.Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, safety controllers, etc. to improve overall plant automation efforts.Attend outside training and seminars for continual education.Hands on skill test required.Your Credentials:3 to 5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Intermediate to advanced mechanical skills inclusive of rebuilding equipment componentsExperience with performing preventative maintenance on equipment.Basic understanding of facility equipment in support of facility engineer.Basic electrical troubleshooting on 480V and below.Basic PLC troubleshooting.
