Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Tech to join our team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and appearance of our facilities. Your primary duties will include performing maintenance and repairs, conducting inspections, and resolving any issues that arise.
Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of general maintenance procedures will contribute to the overall success of our organization.Responsibilities:Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify any maintenance needsPerform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and repairing or replacing faulty electrical switches or outletsRespond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importanceComplete work orders and documentation accurately and within specified timeframesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and other areas as neededMaintain a clean and organized work area, including storage areas, tools, and equipmentCollaborate with team members to identify and implement preventative maintenance strategiesAdhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulationsKeep inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and notify supervisor when replenishment is neededQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a Maintenance Tech or similar roleStrong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniquesProficiency in using hand and power toolsFamiliarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systemsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and drawingsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamPhysical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects if requiredCertification or license in a related field is a plusWe are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
