Maintenance Tech 3 - Night ShiftReports To: Supervisor, MaintenancePosition SummaryManages repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and utilities including:Installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipment, tools, and instrumentsInstalling, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing facilities infrastructure• Making/machining replacement tools and parts for manufacturing operationsPlanning and prioritizing work orders and scheduling overall repair and maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and disruptionsLocal Primary DutiesPerform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipmentTroubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independentlyContribute to root-cause analysis efforts to prevent recurring equipment issues• Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level techniciansParticipate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiencyEnsure all maintenance activities comply with FDA regulations, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocolsUtilize and maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance management systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtimePerform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent.3+ years of related experience with Intermediate to advanced level troubleshooting, schematic and print reading, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls experience required.PreferredMinimum 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of electro-mechanical systemsAssociate's degree preferred with experience in electro-mechanical, high-speed manufacturing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systemsExperience working in a cGMP/Regulated environment desired• Able to read ladder logic and troubleshoot/repair PLC's, electrical systems, AC/DC drive systems, and mechanical systems desireProficiency in machining, welding, and fabricating a plusBasic Computer Skills required; must be experienced and proficient in the use of email, Windows Operating Systems, and basic Microsoft Office tools (specifically Word & Excel)EducationHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalentAssociate's degree preferred with experience in electro-mechanical, high-speed manufacturing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systemsKey Skills (KSAs)Consistently upholds and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMérieux promotes.Analyze data and make decisions and recommendations using data to guide decision?making and provide suggestions for improvement.Written communications, including the ability to communicate technical data in written form.Perseverance; demonstrates perseverance and a focus on outcomes.Make timely decisions by quickly choosing effective solutions in high?pressure situations for optimal outcomes.Practicing time management to allocate tasks, balance priorities, and meet deadlines efficiently.Skilled in MS Office tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel — Intermediate; applies skills independently in most situations and handles moderately complex tasks with occasional guidance.Functionally required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Working Conditions & Physical RequirementsAbility to remain in stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods — YesAbility to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like — YesAbility to wear PPE correctly most of the day — Yes• Ability to operate heavy machinery — YesAbility to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions — YesDomestic travel required — 0%International travel required — 0%Total — 0%The estimated salary range for this role is between $28.00-$42.00 hourly. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux's bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living.

Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate's experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
