In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership of your team of 6-10 maintenance staff, to ensure we are keeping the plant running effectively and efficiently. Your team will be responsible for minimizing production downtime, and fixing facility issues.Location: Pittsburgh, PAShift: 2nd Shift; 4pm-12am, Must be able to work additional shifts/schedules as neededWilling to pay premium for off shift.What You'll Do:Maintaining the safe operation of all equipment and building infrastructureEnsuring equipment is maintained to comply with all environmental and health and safety requirementsEnsure regulatory compliance with NFPA-70E (Arc Flash) for all maintenance activities for your crewAssist in the hiring of maintenance personnelAssist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansionsImplement programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness and accompanying 6S levelsTrack, analyze and improve key maintenance performances indices including asset utilization, up time, PM compliance, etc.Prepare reports, analyze data and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problemsCommunicate regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication for maintenance issuesDevelop and maintain a working relationship with all departments and management ensuring an ongoing connection with production teams; coordinate directly with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in production areasWhat You'll Need:At least 5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environmentHigh School Diploma is requiredBachelors or Associates degree is preferredSome leadership experience requiredMust have the ability to function and communicate in a team settingMust be punctual, predictable, and have regular attendanceMust be able to stand for long durationsMust be tolerant to extreme temperaturesBe able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have a good attitude and be adaptable to changesWorking Conditions:Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidaysAbility to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plantSafety Activities:Be aware of and observe all safety practices.
