Maintenance Supervisor

Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 per year

A well-established manufacturer of products for the electric utilities industry is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for a new facility in Mocksville, North Carolina. This role manages maintenance operations while ensuring customer requirements, quality standards, and safety programs are consistently met across production operations. The Maintenance Supervisor leads troubleshooting and repair efforts across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems while supervising production associates and maintenance personnel.

Schedule
Full-time, on-site in Mocksville, NC.

Compensation

What You'll Do
The Maintenance Supervisor ensures customer requirements and expectations are accurately identified and met throughout production operations, supervising production associates and holding them accountable to company policies while maintaining proper recordkeeping and quality standards. The role includes training staff on production processes, procedures, and quality controls, and directing, maintaining, and enforcing safety and quality programs within the facility. Responsibilities include monitoring plant equipment and systems to minimize non-conformance, preparing reports and analyzing data to recommend improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics, and prioritizing work orders while assisting with technical troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment. The supervisor ensures adherence to the Preventive Maintenance schedule, sources parts for planned and emergency repair activities, and communicates operational and safety procedures to operators and maintenance personnel. The role also includes conducting incident, accident, and non-conformity investigations with corrective action follow-up, and collaborating with support groups to ensure operational resources are available.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision, including electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, PLCs, motors, pumps, and control systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic circuit diagrams, and blueprints
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in electrical, hydraulics, or industrial maintenance
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
