The Maintenance Supervisor position plays a critical role in ensuring the overall functionality, safety, and appearance of our property.
You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repairs, responding to service requests, and contributing to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.Responsibilities:Supervise/train/assist Maintenance Techs I, II, & IIIDiagnose and repair major systemsOversee and assist with completion of unit turns and work ordersManage and/or assist with preventative maintenance and property inspectionsConduct regular inspections of common areas, grounds, and apartment units, identifying and addressing maintenance concerns and safety hazards.Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and property/company policiesMaintain vendor relationshipsAssist with budget planning for maintenance and capital projectsEnsure the curb appeal of the property including landscaping, snow removal, trash clean upMonitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipmentPerforms additional duties as needed to support business operationsQualifications:3-5 years of property maintenance or related experience, including supervisory oversightPrevious experience in managing maintenance for a 200+ unit propertyHVAC and CPO certificationsAbility to manage priorities, budgets, and people effectivelyWorking knowledge of maintenance tools, safety procedures and general repair practicesMust be HVAC certified and have or willing to get CPO certification if applicableStrong resident relation skillsAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to stand/walk for the majority of the day
