Maintenance Supervisor @ The Newbury of BrooklineThe Maintenance Supervisor oversees the upkeep of the community facilities and grounds, providing for a safe and secure environment for residents, family members, guests and associates. This supervisor ensures the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and support equipment, and that the safety and health standards for the property are being met. Inspires and ensures the delivery of exemplary customer service by all maintenance associates.Schedule: Full-Time | 8am to 4:30pm with 1 weekend dayPay: $33-$34/hrWhat will I do every day?Maintain the physical condition of the interior and exterior systems and machinery of the community campus as directed by the DirectorComplete work to personalize and maintain apartments to delight prospective residents with their new home in support of the community sales processAssist residents with simple requests as needed or find appropriate associate to assistLearn resident preferences for opportunities to provide exemplary customer service, exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfactionModel a pride of ownership in community appearanceSupport open and honest communication with and between all associatesWhat will I need to be successful in this role?High school graduate required, some college preferredThree to five years' experience as a supervisor and/or in a maintenance lead roleBasic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applicationsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as neededSpecial Requirements/Certifications I may need?Technical training or HVAC certification is desirableShould have a high degree of mechanical skillWhat's in it for me?
