Maintenance Team LeaderManage and coordinate activities of the Maintenance team for the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment in manufacturing operations. Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of the facility.Essential FunctionsDirectly oversee Maintenance team including staffing, training, performance standards, etc.Oversee the day-to-day assignments of the Maintenance teamPartner with the Maintenance Planner to develop scope and assign technicians to work orders and projectsEnsure weekly preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and work orders are completed satisfactorilyMonitor scheduled work and adjust as required to meet production schedulesInspect completed work for conformance to standards, specifications, and blueprintsContinually monitor working conditions and equipment use; suggest changes to increase efficiency and qualityMaintain time and production recordsEnsure maintenance shop equipment and tools meet operational requirementsEnsure all plant maintenance operations are conducted in a safe and controlled environment in compliance with OSHA rulesManage the department such that good manufacturing practices (GMPs) are adhered to and a professional appearance is maintainedConduct regular maintenance inspectionsOperate within the Maintenance budget; initiate cost saving measuresProvide leadership in implementing/maintaining preventive and predictive maintenance programsWork with Human Resources regarding personnel and performance issuesFoster a sense of team responsibility for achieving goalsSupport employee growth through individual development planning and managementSupport food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured productsPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)Associate's/Bachelor's degree, program certificate, or equivalent work experience2-4 years of maintenance experienceDemonstrated ability to organize and supervise a diverse workforceStrong mechanical and planning aptitudeAbility to understand and articulate the requirements necessary to maintain assets at base condition and importance to comply with conditions of useKnowledge of food manufacturing, FDA/USDA, OSHA, and EPA regulationsProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and experience with CMMSContinuous improvement mindset with the ability to support multiple projectsStrong decision-making skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problemsExcellent skills in the areas of teamwork, motivation, relationship building, and coachingStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentCalifornia, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Washington, D.C. Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $86,172 to $107,716 annually.

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
