Maintenance PlannerThe Maintenance Planner is responsible for the planning work stream in the work management process. The Planner will work directly with the Plant Technical Team to scope and plan corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance, including the updating of corrective and preventative Job Plans with input based on feedback from the maintenance team. The planner will also be responsible to build and maintain equipment within the CMMS system and provide CMMS training and coaching to maintenance personnel.Responsibilities include:Respond to facility work ordersEnsures distribution of parts and materials to meet maintenance deadlinesInspects and monitors work areas, and examines tools and equipmentRequisitions materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement partsExamines objects, systems, or facilities and analyzes information to determine needed installations, services, or repairsUtilizes metrics/data to evaluate and improve work processesComputes estimates and actual costs of factors such as materials, labor, or outside contractorsCorrective, Predictive and Preventative maintenance job scoping planning and scheduling, including the estimation of labor, materials and cost of maintenance jobsWork Order closeout and CMMS updating based on feedback from the maintenance teamManage and Maintain the Plant CMMS as a Subject Matter Expert and Quality Assurance OfficerTrain and Coach Maintenance team members on CMMS usageEquipment and repair parts data entry and managementGenerate reports and track metrics on Maintenance EffectivenessManage as required Maintenance projects that are not capital funded.

Includes developing project scope, costing, timelines and implementationInterface with project teams on new capital projects as required, update CMMS system with removed or new installations and coordinate use of maintenance resources as requiredFully participate in all Continuous Improvement and Safety effortsLeverage TPM Tools and Early Management Processes per the plant's master plan including Planned and Predictive MaintenanceParticipates in plant safety, health and environmental programsUnderstand and maintain focus on achieving the company financial goalsContinually develop and implement ideas to reduce product-manufacturing cost, without exceeding budgeted dollar amountsVendor Management: Source new vendors as required to support business needsPartner with the Production and support teams to develop work order priorities that are aligned with business needsQualifications:Associate's technical degree, or 3 year's planning experience required2+ years of high-level maintenance technician experienceAbility to fully leverage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as Maintenance ConnectionStrong Microsoft Office skillsKnowledge of principles involved in Preventative/Predictive MaintenanceKnowledge of maintenance project implementationStrong knowledge of production and manufacturing equipment and processes
