Job TitleEssential Functions/Responsibilities:This is a leadership and transactional role. The position should be able to communicate well and be a strong team player. This role will communicate with all different levels of employees from the Plant manager to an operator.Will utilize E Maintenance (CMMS) system to plan work orders, review work orders to understand downtime issues, work with Shop Logix reports (automated downtime database) to understand downtime issues and manage a group scorecard that will be updated each month.Order and manage the inventory for the storeroom, set up new parts for the storeroom, and work on minimizing downtime due to no spare parts.Responsible for reviewing and maintaining all incoming work requests to ensure timely planning and completion.Maintains accurate information in our CMMS for all new, existing and decommissioned equipment.Maintain awareness and proactively manage all factors contributing to KPI's such as but not limited to: Safety - Recordable and Lost Time Accidents, Equipment breakdowns and downtime, PM Completion percentage, PM and Line Change Overtime deltas, Cost - Labor & Parts, Ratio of Preventative/Proactive Maintenance to Reactive Maintenance.Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance-related problems.

Initiates, implements, and manages the Maintenance program based on best practices.Maximize uptime and reliability through using planned maintenance where it is more effective than alternatives.Rigorously apply safety standards, ensure all team members actively adhere to safety standards and identify any potential risks in their area.Ensure 6S standards are applied and encourage team members to use them for continuous improvement of their working environment.Follow, without exception, all work instructions and safety policies, including use of all PPE and safety equipmentFollows all safety rules and procedures including Lockout/Tagout program, housekeeping, and 5S standards and observes the operations to ensure a safe work environmentResponsible for the Capital Project PlanningElectronic conversions of machine drawingsProvide daytime trouble shooting guidance and afterhours troubleshooting guidance via phonePerform other related duties as assignedSchedule mechanics work assignments and project workSchedule and monitor machinery repairs and rebuildsEnsure all work orders are inputted into E Maintenance for equipment is always to date and accurateWork with machine builders and parts room on all repair parts and order parts when neededEnsure that all maintenance areas are organized and cleanPerform other related duties as determined by managementAttendance is an essential function of the jobRequirements/Qualifications:Must be at the workstation at the beginning of the shiftMust be able to assist with skills improvement for all mechanic levelsMust be able to effectively communicate by using various tools and techniques: writing, reading, typing, presenting, and creating spreadsheets, and documents. Must be able to articulate instructions and expectations, coach and council, and lead change.Must have strong computer literacy skills/ functional ability for process management, business performance reporting and communication (Microsoft Office, SAP, and CMMS).Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to influence, engage, negotiate and motivate. Must be able to articulate business priorities, expectations, provide clear direction, delegate responsibility, and objectively manage in all situations including plant emergency situations.Strong analytical skills to review data and create actions to improve equipment OEE.Must have functional knowledge of automated process and machinery.Strong communication, presentation, coaching and counseling skills; able to provide overall vision and lead change by creating high performance work teams.Ability to multitask and prioritize as neededProven organization capability to prepare, communicate and monitor the implementation of plans in detail and interact well with others.Strong interpersonal skills with the willingness and ability to treat team members with respect, communicate clearly, listen and coach.

Ability to work in a professional manner under stress is required.Prior experience of working in a Production Floor environment, with a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.Basic literacy and numeracy, including ability to read, write and speak English.Must be able to work in mechanically oriented situations, following instructions of the plant manager or maintenance manager.Must understand and apply safety precautions used with hand and power toolsPhysical Requirements:Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shiftUse of hands and fingers to perform job functionAbility to stoop, kneel, bend and climb as neededAbility to lift 20-55lbsAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, 90 plus degrees.
