We are seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for 2nd & 3rd Shift with a strong electrical and mechanical background to support our manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial production and packaging equipment. This role plays an important part in maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a safe production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Tear down, rebuild, repair, and replace defective equipment components, including motors, gearboxes, clutches, bearings, and electrical components
- Perform equipment changeovers and production line setups
- Assist line workers with changeovers and improve changeover procedures
- Set up fill lines for production runs
- Repair and maintain production machinery and related equipment
- Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments
- Work from prints, schematics, wiring diagrams, machine manuals, preventive maintenance sheets, and other maintenance instructions
- Follow and promote all safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements
- Assist supervisors with production line operations as needed
- Work effectively with employees at all levels, both independently and as part of a team
- Participate in special projects, meetings, and other assigned duties
Equipment Experience
Experience with industrial packaging and production equipment is preferred, including:
- Carton erectors and sealers
- Liquid fillers
- Case packers
- Palletizers
- Cappers
- Conveyors
- Labelers
- Production and filling lines
- Blow molding equipment
Uniloy or Bekum blow molding experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial/mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of gearboxes and cam-type equipment
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, including AC 480–120V and DC/low-voltage controls
- Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to provide basic mechanic's hand tools
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift and move approximately 40–60 lbs
- Ability to remain on your feet for approximately 80–90% of the shift
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Available Shifts
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday
Overtime as needed.
