This direct-placement opportunity offers competitive pay, multiple shift options, and long-term career advancement with a global industry leader.As a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment upgrades across a wide range of automated production systems—from legacy machinery to modern, highly automated equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine troubleshooting — Work directly with operators to diagnose root causes of equipment failures and downtime.Preventive maintenance — Perform scheduled PMs to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production machinery.Mechanical repairs — Rebuild cylinders, replace bearings, disassemble gearboxes, and repair mechanical components using hoists, forklifts, and shop tools.Fabrication & machining — Fabricate and repair parts using mills, lathes, drill presses, welders, and precision measuring tools.Electrical troubleshooting — Diagnose AC/DC voltage issues, including single-phase and three-phase systems.Automation systems — Troubleshoot SCADA systems, VFDs, servo motors, drives, and PLC-controlled equipment.Diagnostic tools — Use multimeters, thermography, vibration analysis, and ultrasonic leak detection to identify electromechanical issues.Technical documentation — Complete accurate CMMS entries and maintenance reports.Safety compliance — Follow OSHA and NFPA standards and maintain proper PPE usage.Equipment upgrades — Support retrofit projects and integrate new processes into existing production lines.Team collaboration — Work with a multi-craft maintenance team to support all facility operations across shifts.Required Skills & Experience3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment.Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.Hands-on experience troubleshooting AC/DC systems, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and drives.Proficiency with hand and power tools and the ability to maintain a personal toolbox.Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, thermography, vibration analysis, and ultrasonic detectors.Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to OSHA and NFPA safety standards.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; Mechatronics or Automation degree preferred.Welding and metal fabrication experience.Experience working with both legacy equipment and modern automated systems.Ability to work first, second, or third shift as needed.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to equipment reliability.Why You'll Love Working HereYou'll join a stable, global organization that invests heavily in employee development, safety, and long-term career growth.
