Maintenance Mechanic in Temple, TXHiring Immediately! 2nd Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:15 PM Full-Time BenefitsThe Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems across all departments.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on belts, piping, filters, mixers, conveyors, valves, bearings, and sealsTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to resolve and prevent issuesMaintain and repair pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, pneumatics, and production equipmentInstall and service control devices, sensors, and motor control systemsTroubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) and 480V 3-phase electrical systemsRead and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documentsPerform basic welding and fabrication as neededQualifications3–5 years of mechanical maintenance or skilled trades experienceMust be 18 years of age, High school diploma or GED requiredStrong mechanical and electrical backgroundPLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley preferred)Experience with hand tools and power toolsAbility to read technical drawings and work independentlyBasic computer skills; CMMS experience a plusStrong communication and teamwork skillsDo you want to add a little color to your career?We encourage opportunities for advancement and support your success through collaborative team efforts while allowing you to shine.
