Job Description:

We are seeking Maintenance Mechanic II to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in preventive and corrective maintenance in a cGMP manufacturing environment and a proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and document maintenance activities to ensure safe and compliant operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and planned or unplanned repairs per SOPs and work instructions. Adjust equipment and notify supervisors of abnormalities.
• Collaborate with department teams on specialized maintenance projects. Research and implement methods or devices. Document change control.
• Train junior staff. Complete GMP and other documentation. Revise or draft new SOPs as needed.
• Order spare parts. Provide general labor. Clean and organize work areas. Perform equipment monitoring and operational checks.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices. Follow safety and environmental guidelines. Immediately report incidents and promote a positive safety culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of general maintenance experience and 1–3 years in a cGMP environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Windows platforms, company intranet, and Microsoft and Google applications (Word, Excel, gDocs, gSheets).
• Experience with CMMS to record work performed.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary and work varying shifts, including participation in an on-call program if required.
• General knowledge of shop tool operation and safety.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physical Conditions and PPE:

• Schedule may include a non-rotating 4-day, 10-hour shift, one weekend day, evening or night hours, or full off-shift hours.
• Stand on feet for 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Climb up to 6 flights of stairs daily and climb heights up to 30 feet by ladder.
• Lift up to 40 lbs.
• Wear gowning such as hospital scrubs, bunny suits, gloves, and steel-toe boots. No makeup or jewelry permitted in clean rooms.
• Work with hazardous materials and chemicals as needed. Wear air-purifying respirators and hearing protection as required.
• Ability to crawl, kneel, stoop, and work in small spaces.
