Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary:
- Must have three (3) years on-the-job experience as a packaging mechanic
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, installing packaging equipment, and/or removing pneumatic, mechanical and electrical components
- Experience with packaging line changeovers
- Able to express basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic principles
- Experience working with Mechanical Components and systems, Motor, Gearbox, Bearing, Driveshaft, Sprockets, and Roller chains, etc
- Experience working with Hydraulic Systems, Cylinders, Pumps, Valves, Motors etc
- Working knowledge of Welding, Drilling, and Milling
- Ability to operate shop equipment such as grinders, belt sanders, drill press, band saws, hydraulic press, electric drills, etc
- Must have basic standard and metric hand tools (e.g. sockets, wrenches, pliers, channel locks, wire cutters)
- Must be able to work any shift, and overtime as required
- Requires sufficient physical ability to walk, stand, and sit; to frequently bend, squat, crouch, kneel, twist, and make other movements in the performance of daily activities; handling/fingering and using hand and power/pneumatic tools; to reach outward, and lift, carry, push and/or pull moderate amounts of weight
