The primary responsibilities and accountabilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Comply with all safe work practices, use proper PPE, fall protection equipment, etc.
- Complete preventative maintenance work and provide feedback on any issues
- Complete all required documentation
- Repair and install equipment as needed
- Troubleshoot hardware and processing issues
- Manage input to work orders and notifications in SAP
- Complete labor hour confirmations in SAP
- Assist in managing the MRO parts warehouse.
Education, Qualifications, & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-year vocational school technical training strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing maintenance required
Competencies and Skills Required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good math and reading comprehension skills
- Good computer skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Experience in SAP or use of other Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred
- Experience in use of modern tools such as laser alignment, vibration data collection, etc.
- Experience in different types of pump troubleshooting/repair
- Experience in blower troubleshooting/repair
- Experience in different types of mixer troubleshooting/repair
- Experience in gearbox troubleshooting/repair
- Experience in different types of actuated valve operation and repair
- Experience in operation of man lifts, and other ground equipment as needed
