Maintenance MechanicMajor duties include, but are not limited to the following:Installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains all locking devices which include security units; monitors; alarms; timing mechanisms; sensors and other equipment within security or surveillance systems.Installs distribution panels, boxes, fittings, connections, wiring, couplings, conduit, relays, fixtures, transformers and other electrical devices.Troubleshoots interrelating mechanism lockouts in security systems caused by defective parts.Assists in maintaining interior and exterior building operations and appearance by measuring, constructing, installing, modifying, repairing framework, rafters, doors, finished paneling, windows, rough furniture, trims, staircases, trusses and beamsWork Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pmPosition Description Title/PD#: Maintenance Mechanic/PD08944-APhysical Requirements: Standing, walking, stooping, bending, climbing and crawling are required. Work may be performed in cramped or awkward position. Employee will lift objects weighing 20-50 pounds and upon occasion, in excess of 50 pounds.
