Maintenance ManagerWe're seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for our 24/7 blown film manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently while developing a skilled maintenance team and driving continuous improvement.You'll lead a team of six maintenance technicians supporting four rotating production crews and partner closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Plant Leadership to maximize uptime and plant performance.This is a highly visible leadership role that requires active involvement on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment issues, mentoring technicians, improving reliability, and creating a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.What You'll DoLead Safety & CompliancePromote a Zero Incident safety cultureEnsure compliance with OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, NFPA 70E, and other regulatory requirementsLead incident investigations and corrective actionsEnsure contractor safety complianceDevelop & Lead the Maintenance TeamCoach, mentor, and develop six maintenance techniciansConduct performance reviews and development planningBuild training and cross-training programsFoster accountability, engagement, and teamworkProvide Hands-On Technical LeadershipSupport troubleshooting and critical equipment repairsAssist with preventive maintenance, rebuilds, and shutdown activitiesLead equipment startups following major repairsMaintain expertise in PLCs, drives, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systemsImprove Equipment ReliabilityMaintain and improve reliability of:Blown Film Extrusion LinesWinders, Die Systems, Air RingsGravimetric Blenders and Resin Conveying SystemsChillers, Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, and Vacuum SystemsPackaging Equipment, Plant Utilities, and Building SystemsDrive improvements in:Equipment UptimeMTBF and MTTROEE SupportOverall ReliabilityManage Preventive & Predictive MaintenanceDevelop and execute PM schedulesAchieve PM completion targets above 95%Improve maintenance planning and CMMS utilizationManage shutdown planning and predictive maintenance programsPartner with OperationsPrioritize maintenance activities and respond to downtime issuesLead root cause analysis and eliminate repeat failuresSupport daily operational meetings and plant objectivesDrive Continuous ImprovementLead projects involving:PLC and controls upgradesReliability improvementsSafety enhancementsEnergy reduction initiativesEquipment replacement and modernizationLean manufacturing practicesManage Maintenance ResourcesMaintenance budget and capital planningSpare parts inventoryContractor managementEquipment lifecycle planningVendor relationships and purchasingWhat We're Looking ForEducationAssociate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field preferredEquivalent military or technical experience consideredExperience7+ years of industrial maintenance experience3+ years of maintenance leadership experienceBlown film or extrusion experience strongly preferredExperience with industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsPLC troubleshooting experience preferredProven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with CMMS systemsAbility to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentSuccess MeasuresEquipment Uptime: ?
