Maintenance ManagerThe Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance and repair of the equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with experience in planning and executing maintenance programs, including spare part inventory, managing and developing a team of technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Job Duties:Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as neededSet schedules, objectives, and measures for a successful preventative and predictive maintenance program.Support production by maintaining all equipment, machinery, and facility.Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repairsMonitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvementDevelop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliersManage maintenance budgets and expensesDocument and track all maintenance projects.Manage spare parts inventoryPerforms other incidental and related duties as required and assigned, including projects or assignments to support the plant.Working Conditions:The Maintenance Manager is in a safety-sensitive position working directly with machinery and equipment, with frequent exposure to a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment where ambient air temperature can occasionally exceed outside air temperature.Must sit and view a computer screen for extended periods.Must be able to bend at the waist and knees, walk, and stand for extended periods.Must lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl under or over, and climb stairs and ladders.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.Must be flexible and able to change schedule and hours of work to meet the needs of the organizationRequired Education, Experience & Skills:Four-year college or university program degree; and 5 to 10 years of experience in maintenance or related field.Two years of experience with Maintenance system software.Ability to set preventative and predictive maintenance objectives to support a sustainable continuous improvement process.Experience with hands-on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics in a roll-forming or metal-stamping manufacturing environment is preferred.Understanding mechanical, air, hydraulic, and other systems, working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.Knowledgeable and hands-on experience working with basic electricity ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC (3 phase).Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics, blueprints, technical procedures, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.Knowledge of PLCs.Knowledgeable of OSHA standards in metal stamping and mechanical power presses.Must be computer literate and proficient with Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Ability to work with and communicate (verbal and written) effectively with all levels within the organization.Ability to self-motivate, problem-solve, and work in a dynamic environmentMust be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
