Maintenance ManagerAs a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the entire upkeep and maintenance at an Ennis-Flint manufacturing plant delivering the product to market. This responsibility must be done most efficiently, with the lowest cost, acceptable quality, and safely.You will be seated and will report to the Plant Manager at our North Texas plant. PPG offers excellent and affordable medical, vision, and dental benefits; substantial PTO, vacation, and sick time; and outstanding matching 401k plus additional retirement savings.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership, mentoring, and evaluations for maintenance staff, Conduct maintenance training.Lead maintenance staff delegating work areas to them.Fix mechanical problems ensuring the work is tracked through CMMS software. Using FIIX.Propose improvements and changes in maintenance procedures to improve quality, safety, service, efficiency, of plant equipment.Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of the plant and the set-up a replacement parts inventory.Ensure the proper working of all electrical units and systems in the plant.Ensure a record of all the daily maintenance and service activities undertaken in a facility is kept.Follow all Ennis-Flint policies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules (OSHA) while carrying out maintenance functions.Place orders for spare parts and equipment for replacement and ascertaining the proper documentation as well as synchronizing work processes with other departments of the plant.QualificationsMinimum (7) years of manufacturing maintenance experience which can include supervisory responsibility.Minimum (3) years of manufacturing maintenance supervisory responsibility.Technical/electrical/automation background in manufacturing and preventive/predictive maintenance experience.Detailed Quality and Safety knowledgePPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD™Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
