Maintenance ManagerThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance activities across the manufacturing facility to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, facilities, and infrastructure.

The role is critical in maximizing equipment uptime, reducing unplanned downtime, improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Maintenance LeadershipLead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to achieve operational and business objectives.Establish clear performance goals and development plans for maintenance personnel.Foster a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.Manage maintenance staffing, training, succession planning, and workforce capability development.Asset Reliability & Equipment PerformanceDevelop and implement preventative, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and machine availability.Monitor and improve key performance metrics including:Equipment uptimeOEEMean Time Between Failures (MTBF)Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)Planned vs. reactive maintenance ratioLead root cause investigations into equipment failures and implement corrective actions.Maintenance Planning & ExecutionDevelop and manage annual maintenance plans and shutdown schedules.Ensure effective maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution through CMMS systems.Prioritize maintenance activities to minimize disruption to production operations.Ensure maintenance records, procedures, and documentation are maintained accurately.Facilities & Utilities ManagementManage site facilities and critical utilities including:Electrical systemsHVAC systemsWater and cooling systemsCompressed air systemsBuilding infrastructureCoordinate contractor activities and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.Continuous ImprovementLead TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement projects.Support automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives where appropriate.Participate in capital investment projects and equipment upgrades.Health, Safety & Environmental ComplianceEnsure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe systems of work are implemented.Manage machine guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, and contractor safety.Support ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 and other applicable management systems.Budget & Cost ControlDevelop and manage the maintenance budget.Control spare parts inventory and maintenance expenditure.Identify opportunities to reduce operational and maintenance costs.Manage supplier relationships, service agreements, and contractor performance.Capital ProjectsSupport installation and commissioning of new equipment.Lead equipment modification and plant improvement projects.Provide technical expertise for capital investment decisions.Participate in project planning, budgeting, and executionKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Equipment uptime %OEE improvementUnplanned downtime reductionMTBF and MTTR performancePlanned maintenance compliance %Maintenance budget adherenceSafety performanceSpare parts inventory accuracyEngineering project delivery performanceTeam capability and engagement
