Maintenance Engineer IAs a Maintenance Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting the maintenance and operational efficiency of our organization's physical facilities and manufacturing equipment. Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the development and implementation of maintenance plans and schedules to ensure facilities and equipment are maintained effectively and comply with safety and regulatory standards.Support the engineering team in troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing facility systems and manufacturing equipment to improve operational efficiency.Participate in inspections and quality assessments to identify maintenance needs and ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematicsMinimum of 1-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related engineering rolesKnowledge of building systems, manufacturing equipment maintenance, and safety regulationsProficiency with maintenance management systems, troubleshooting tools, and basic engineering softwareExperience with preventive maintenance practices and ability to interpret technical drawings and specificationsWE VALUEAdvanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldExperience in industrial or manufacturing facility environmentsFamiliarity with energy-saving initiatives and sustainable maintenance practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills related to facility and equipment maintenanceKnowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in facility operationsU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELLIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
