This position is responsible for ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and operated efficiently. This position is also responsible for commissioning, installation, and developing standards/training for new equipment.
Essential Functions:
* Works with contractors to ensure safety and accuracy of work.
* Provides support for the installation, training, and repair of equipment.
* Assists in the identification and procurement of new equipment. Obtains specifications and design information of new equipment.
* Identifies and implements options for equipment retrofits and repairs
* Supports process improvement initiatives
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree inEngineering or related field.May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
* 2+ years of relevant experience
* Familiarity withmanufacturing and/or operations equipment
