JOB SUMMARY:
nPerform a variety of electrical work in the manufacture, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical components, equipment, systems and machinery.
nDUTIES INCLUDE:

Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical, hydro-mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Perform routine and non-routine work on mechanical systems as needed.

Fabricate mechanical attachments and modifications that support electrical work.
n n - n
Accept, plan, and complete assignments for repair or installation of electrical equipment, building systems and all plant production equipment.
n n - n
Install conduit, EMT, PVC, panel boards and all related fittings including controls for power, heat and light in accordance with Local and National code.
n n - n
Work from blueprint sketches and wiring diagrams, making diagrams if needed.
n n - n
Use and maintenance of all test equipment, instruments, measuring devices and controls.
n n - n
Assist engineering with design of new equipment controls, PLC controls, building electrical systems and power distribution systems.
n n - n
Troubleshoot equipment program control problems through utilization of computer PLC interface, laptop computer or other MMI.
n n - n
Operate and maintain plant systems, including boilers and steam systems, air compressors, pumps and general facility support systems.
n n - n
Repair and maintain production machinery.
n n - n
Work from drawings, plans or sketches to fabricate fixtures, replacement parts and weld fabrications.
n n - n
Identify, troubleshoot and repair problems in electrical wiring and systems.
n n - n
Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades to wiring, conduit and electronic control systems.
n n - n
Investigate and resolve work-in-process problems.
n n - n
Recommend and implement improvements and/or modifications of sequence of electrical operations.
n n - n
Ensure proper wiring of facility for machinery and facility layout.
n n - n
Perform other duties as assigned.
