We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance operations of our nursing home facility. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance, repair, and safety to ensure a clean, functional, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulations
- Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs and inspections
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in a long-term care setting is a plus
