CareCore at Heritage is looking for an experienced Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance operations of our skilled nursing facility. If you have healthcare maintenance experience, a strong understanding of life safety standards, and take pride in keeping a facility safe and operating at its best, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day maintenance operations for the facility
- Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code, OSHA, CMS, and state regulations
- Perform preventative maintenance and manage work order completion
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire safety, emergency power, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Prepare for and participate in state surveys and Life Safety inspections
- Manage outside vendors and service contractors
- Maintain maintenance records, logs, and regulatory documentation
- Assist with budgeting, inventory, and purchasing of maintenance supplies
- Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance leadership experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting required
- Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code, healthcare regulations, and facility compliance
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and prioritize maintenance needs in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
