Maintenance Director- LTC Experience in LTC/ SNF required

At Chestnut Hill is currently accepting applications for a full-time, 40 hr/week Maintenance Director.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have management experience in Long Term Care Nursing Home.
• Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
• Must know how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facility.
• Must be able to see small details in equipment, machinery, etc.
• Must be knowledgeable of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan, and follow policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for budget, accounts payable, department employees, reports and required documentation.
• Responsible for Preventative Maintenance program and ensures compliance according to local, state and federal regulations.
• Maintains all facility equipment in a safe and functioning manner.
• Maintains furnishings and grounds, plumbing and electrical fixtures.
• Responsible for fire safety.
• Participates in Quality Improvement and Department Head meetings.
