Our senior living community is seeking a Maintenance Director to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities
- Oversee ongoing preventive maintenance of the facility building, equipment, and grounds.
- Troubleshoot maintenance problems as they arise.
- Ensure maintenance services are available for emergency needs outside of regular working hours.
- Coordinate with licensed vendors approved by administration when necessary.
- Assist residents with moving and minor repairs.
- Apply safety awareness and follow safety procedures, including infection control measures where applicable.

- Demonstrate self‑supervision and self‑motivation.
- Set priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintain a positive, courteous and respectful attitude toward residents, families, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in building maintenance.
- Prior experience managing a team.
- Knowledge of plumbing (design and mechanics of commodes, plumbing fixtures, drains, discharge lines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines, etc.).
- Knowledge of HVAC (general principles, heat pump operation, refrigeration).
- Knowledge of electrical systems (wiring, voltage, amperage).
- Knowledge of mechanics (engine design and operation).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no major violations.
