As a key member of our facilities management team, the Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our hospital's equipment, facilities, and grounds. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians, janitorial staff, and other support personnel to ensure effective and efficient maintenance operations.
• Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
• Collaborate with department managers to address maintenance needs and ensure that facilities are safe, clean, and functional.
• Monitor and control budgets for maintenance supplies, equipment, and labor to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment downtime to support quality and safety initiatives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills , with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations , codes, and standards, including OSHA, HIPAA, and JCAHO.
