East River Nursing and Rehab -The Maintenance Director is responsible for repair of electrical; plumbing; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); carpentry; painting; and other building systems.
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN LONG TERM CARE
Duties/Responsibilities
- Evaluates systems in facility to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
- Plans work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.
- Assesses building systems to plan work assignments.
- Ensures maintenance and repair work is completely safely, effectively, in a timely manner, and in accordance with DHEC regulations.
- Tracks and logs, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed.
- Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
- Long term care facility experience required
