Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary

Are you ready to help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression? We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

• Work an entire shift on your feet in physically demanding environments.
• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting, handling hazardous materials, company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Clean all areas of the facility—floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles—following company procedures, guidelines, methods, and using approved chemicals and supplies.
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, dispose of cardboard, plastic, trash per the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store them properly, and place orders to replenish supplies.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary, thus creating a positive first and last impression.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.

Base Pay Range: $18.00/hr – $25.00/hr. The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. Actual hourly rate may equal or exceed the local minimum wage. Additional premiums may be paid based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
