This role supports a corrugated packaging manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN that converts paper into boxes. The Maintenance Coordinator helps lead department goals and KPIs, working closely with the Maintenance Manager on inventory, budgeting, training, and plant reliability. This role is well suited to a hands-on maintenance professional with strong electrical, PLC, mechanical, and pneumatic systems knowledge and experience with corrugated converting equipment.

Full-time, onsite in Chattanooga, TN.

Compensation

$80,000 to $115,000 per year, based on experience.

What You'll Do

The Maintenance Coordinator reports to the Maintenance Manager and helps lead department goals and KPIs. This role oversees department inventories and budgeting to ensure supplies and materials are maintained within proper thresholds, and leads personnel through training and development standards to improve safety, machinery reliability, and plant uptime.

The Maintenance Coordinator also supports the Maintenance Manager with operational tasks such as scheduling, shift meetings, and goal management.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in the corrugated industry, ideally within a facility that converts paper into boxes
• Experience with corrugated converting machinery, specifically BHS equipment
• Strong electrical and PLC knowledge
• Experience with mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa sponsorship, now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of supervisory or team lead experience within the corrugated or packaging industry
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and programming (for example, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell platforms)
• Experience supporting lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
