Maintenance Controls TechnicianCAMACO is seeking a Maintenance Controls Technician to support and maintain automated manufacturing equipment in a high-volume automotive production facility. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems, robotic welding cells, and industrial electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe, reliable operations.This position works closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams to quickly resolve automation-related issues and improve equipment performance.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley preferred)Support robotic systems (Fanuc preferred)Diagnose electrical, sensor, motor, and control circuit issuesPerform control panel troubleshooting and component replacementSupport preventive maintenance and downtime reduction initiativesRead and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logicAssist with equipment startups, modifications, and upgradesDocument repairs and control changes accuratelyQualificationsAssociate degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years experience in industrial maintenance or automated manufacturingStrong electrical and controls troubleshooting skillsBasic PLC diagnostics experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentWork Environment300,000 sq ft automated automotive manufacturing facility160+ robotic welding cellsStamping presses and tube millsHands-on maintenance support role
