Maintenance/Certified Diesel MechanicHamilton Local School District is seeking a Maintenance/Certified Diesel Mechanic, who is organized, efficient, and self-motivated. Base rate of pay is $22.43 as per the OAPSE Negotiated Agreement. You will be contacted for an interview should your qualifications match our district needs.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Ability to provide Certified Diesel Mechanic CertificationResponsibilities and Essential Functions:Maintenance and upkeep of district vehicles, including but not limited to School Bus, School Vans and district Fleet Vehicles.Experience or knowledge of all building trade skillsPerform normal operator adjustments and service to facility equipment such as, but not limited to, compressors, HVAC System, and assist in maintaining records on operational and maintenance activitiesAssume primary responsibility for the safe conditions of electric elements in the facilities owned or operated by the school districtPerform general maintenance work inside and outside the physical plant such as ceiling, roof, electrical, welding, plumbing, concrete, masonry, glazing, insulation, tile, pump, and fan repairsPerform general labor inside and outside the physical plant including districtwide groundskeeping, handling materials and supplies, moving equipment, operating power-driver equipment, truck driving, snow plowing, mowing, etc.Recommend supplies and equipment for purchaseConduct periodical inspections of the facilitiesAssemble and install educational equipmentAssist with custodial or maintenance dutiesApplication Procedure: Please complete the employment application through this online system.
