Maintenance Associate, Full-timeSt. William Parish is looking for a full-time Maintenance Associate to assist with general maintenance of the Parish and Parish property.Job Responsibilities:General maintenance and custodial care of Parish buildings and grounds.Scheduling maintenance projects.Fulfilling maintenance requests timely.Replacing of light bulbs, air filters, ceiling tiles, light ballasts.Painting, light carpentry and plumbing.Stocking of all cleaning supplies such as soap and paper products.Understanding and adherence to proper cleaning/sanitizing methods, storage and care of equipment and supplies, using guidelines mandated by federal/local agencies.Setting up & break down for events.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.Must have basic maintenance skills.Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance.Ability to climb, bend, kneel, stretch, reach.Ability to work indoors and outdoors.Physically capable of climbing ladders in a safe manner.Self-motivated individual able to work independently.Bi-lingual a plus.Must pass Level II FDLE background check.Must pass a post offer DOV assigned physical exam.Special requirements: Must be available to work on weekends and all holidays.
