Facilities AssistantHight Logistics is seeking a dependable and hardworking Facilities Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace across our two company locations. This role focuses primarily on janitorial services and facility upkeep, while also assisting with light building maintenance and general repairs.The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming environment, enjoys staying active throughout the day, and is willing to assist with a variety of facility-related tasks.What You'll DoMaintain the cleanliness of offices, break rooms, restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces through routine janitorial services.Perform regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and proactively address issues.Complete general building repairs, including: Painting and wall patchingReplacing light fixtures and bulbsMinor plumbing repairsDoor, lock, and hardware repairsGeneral fixture maintenancePerform preventive maintenance on building equipment and facility systems.Keep outdoor areas cleanRespond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, workstation setups, and special facility projects.Monitor facility conditions and report major repairs or safety concerns to management.Follow all company safety policies and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards.Support other facility-related projects and perform additional duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForAt least 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial services, or general repair work preferred.Basic knowledge of building maintenance, electrica, and general repair techniques.Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize work across multiple facilities.Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.Physical RequirementsAbility to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and reach overhead.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to safely use maintenance tools, equipment, and cleaning products.BenefitsWe value our employees and offer a competitive benefits package, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany-paid Life Insurance401(k) with Employer ContributionPaid VacationPaid Sick TimeStable, full-time employment with a growing transportation company
