Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance/Carpenter Technician to join our apartment community team. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day maintenance requests as well as carpentry and remodeling projects to keep our property in excellent condition for .

Responsibilities:

- Perform general maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and painting

- Complete carpentry work such as building, repairing, and installing cabinets, doors, trim, shelving, and fixtures

- Handle apartment turnovers and remodeling projects between tenants

- Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests

- Conduct routine inspections of units and common areas to identify repair needs

- Maintain grounds, common areas, and building exteriors as needed

- Participate in on-call/emergency maintenance rotation

- Order and maintain maintenance supplies and tools

- Ensure all work complies with safety codes and regulations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in property maintenance, carpentry, or a related trade

- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools

- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset

- Valid driver's license

- HVAC/EPA certification a plus

Pay: Up to $28/hour, based on experience
