Mainframe Scheduler Migration Specialist

Total Experience: 15+
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Mainframe z/OS / OS/390.
- 5+ years of hands-on IBM Z Workload Scheduler / Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
- Strong TSO/ISPF experience.
- Excellent JCL knowledge.
- Experience with batch scheduling migration/conversion is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of CA-7, CA-ESP, BMC Control-M, Jobtrac, Zeke/Zebb is a plus.
- Experience with Dynamic Workload Console (DWC) is advantageous.
- REXX or Workload Automation Programming Language experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
What You'll Do
- Support migration of existing Mainframe scheduling products to IBM Z Workload Scheduler.
- Monitor and troubleshoot workloads using ISPF.
- Analyze scheduling reports and identify migration issues/corrective actions.
- Document migration activities and solutions.
- Collaborate with project teams, customers, contractors, and internal technical teams.
