Seeking two Mainframe Programmers for a long-term remote contract position, the successful candidates will focus on new COBOL development, troubleshoot production issues, and adhere to corporate policies for fixes and deployments. Key responsibilities: Develop new COBOL applications and troubleshoot production problems in an enterprise environment Follow corporate policies and procedures to fix, test, and deploy solutions into the production environment Utilize tools such as Endevor, TSO/ISPF, File-aid, and Abend-aid for mainframe development tasks Required qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a COBOL developer or mainframe systems analyst Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, CICS, and SQL Permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer Experience with mainframe development tools like Endevor, TSO/ISPF, File-aid, and Abend-aid Knowledge of Assembler coding and IMS databases is a plus
