Responsibilities
- IODF & Broadcom Products Engineer
- Maintain working knowledge of IODF creation and implementation.
- Thorough knowledge of the CHIP ID Mapping Tool (CMT).
- Maintain understanding of Broadcom products (Datacom, CA7 etc) including product support and currency.
- Knowledge of installation process: SMPE to Install libraries, to test, to production.
- Understanding of HIPER, FIXCAT and PE’d PTF’s.
- Install IBM z/OS Broadcom, zOS upgrade, IODF
- Knowledge on Parallel Sysplex concepts
- Experience mainframe LPAR builds
- Installation of patches and fixes
- Installation and maintenance of ISV products
- System parameters/parmlib maintenance
- Managing incidents on z/OS related issues
- zOS MF configuration and setup
- z/OS performance monitoring and reporting
