Mainframe - IDAA

Note :- Need hands on experience with IDAA and or actual install experience of the product.

Skills Required –

• Installation of IDAA code - IBM Data Analytic Accelerator (IDAA)
• Installation of Rocket Loader code
• Knowledge of IDAA administrative activity
• Pairing/impairing an accelerator
• Setting up replication
• Adding/removing, altering keys, disabling/enabling acceleration, disabling/enabling replications, gathering stats for tables
• Setting up federation
• Knowledge of the difference between tables, shadow table, accelerator only tables, and reference tables
• Understanding of when queries should be accelerated
• Knowledge about and when to use the difference set acceleration options
• Understanding of the different options to copy data to the accelerators (native loads, loader, and replication)
• JCL
• Db2 Loads
• REXX
• Trouble shooting errors
• Data Studio (experience with IDAA and loader plugins)

Skills nice to have -

• SQL
• DDL
• Setting up Federation
• Handling errors

Be able to write/trouble shoot JCL, REXX and support Db2 objects that support the environment.
