Job Title: Mainframe Developer
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Day 1 Onsite)

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in application development, maintenance, and support, along with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications.
* Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
* Develop and enhance applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
* Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and production support.
* Troubleshoot application issues and ensure timely resolution.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during development and deployment.
* Prepare technical documentation and follow coding standards.
* Participate in code reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
Required Skills
* Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
* Experience with VSAM, IMS, and TSO/ISPF.
* Knowledge of Mainframe utilities such as IDCAMS, SORT, and File Manager.
* Experience in batch processing and online transaction processing.
* Familiarity with version control and change management tools such as Endevor or Changeman.
* Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
* Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Retail domains.
* Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Knowledge of API integration or Mainframe modernization initiatives is an added advantage.
