Mainframe Developer - CA-MMISCTG is seeking to fill a Mainframe Developer - CA-MMIS position for our client. Location: Remote; candidates local to Sacramento, CA preferred Duration: 11 monthsDuties:Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and program logic.Design, develop, maintain, and support CA-MMIS applications in an IBM z/OS environment.Support Medicaid Accounts Receivable (AR), cash control, and healthcare claims processing.Develop and maintain integrations using z/OS Connect APIs, DVM APIs, and AWS Cloud services.Perform unit, integration, and regression testing; troubleshoot defects and provide production support.Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver reliable application solutions.Skills:Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.Knowledge of IBM z/OS tools and utilities, including TSO/ISPF and REXX.Experience with API development, mainframe integration, and cloud connectivity.Strong analytical, debugging, testing, and technical documentation skills.Experience:5+ years of mainframe application development, maintenance, and support experience.Experience with business requirements analysis, application design, development, and testing.Healthcare claims processing and CA-MMIS experience preferred.Experience with Medicaid AR, cash control processing, z/OS Connect, DVM APIs, and AWS integration preferred.Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
