Job Description:
- Experience in application development in legacy technologies such as COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve, IDEALDatacom, RPG, ASM, MQ (at least some of the technologies, if not all)
- Participate in code migration and data transformation efforts as part of rehosting
- Collaborate with architects and cloud teams to support GCP-based modernization
- Support batch job execution, console monitoring, and production control
- Understand interfacing systems, ongoing projects
- Provide critical inputs to the migration teams and guidance during the course of migration
