Seeking a Maine Licensed Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner, the full-time remote position focuses on providing direct clinical care to patients with neurological conditions and memory disorders, while collaborating with physicians to enhance patient access and treatment efficiency. Key responsibilities Provide direct clinical care to patients via telehealth, focusing on neurological and memory-related conditions Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage ongoing treatment in collaboration with supervising physicians Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and disease progression, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation Required qualifications Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Maine; certification in geriatrics, adult-gerontology, or family practice preferred 2+ years of clinical experience in neurology, memory care, or dementia care settings Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills Ability to manage a full patient panel independently with physician collaboration Excellent communication skills with patients facing cognitive decline and their caregivers
