Maine Licensed Neurology Nurse Practitioner

To enhance virtual patient care, the full-time Maine Licensed Neurology Nurse Practitioner will provide direct clinical care to patients with neurological conditions and collaborate with physicians remotely from Maine. Key responsibilities Deliver telehealth assessments, develop care plans, and manage ongoing treatment for patients with neurological conditions Collaborate with supervising physicians and the care team to ensure continuity of care and effective patient management Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and disease progression while maintaining accurate clinical documentation Required qualifications Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Maine; certification in geriatrics, adult-gerontology, or family practice preferred Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in neurology, memory care, or dementia care settings Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills Ability to manage a full patient panel independently with physician collaboration Excellent communication skills with patients experiencing cognitive decline and their caregivers
