Mahan For Governor: Finance AssistantThe Matt Mahan for Governor campaign is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the finance operation. This role is critical to ensuring accurate data, strong targeting, and effective decision-making across the campaign.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the finance team and hosts to track, plan, and build fundraising eventsStaff and assist with fundraising events across CaliforniaPrepare briefing materials for the candidate and surrogatesSupport candidate call time by identifying prospective donors, preparing calls, and conducting follow-up and pledge-chaseAssist in staffing candidate call time as neededCultivate relationships with donors, stakeholders, and event hosts in CaliforniaEnsure databases (Numero, etc.) are accurate, organized, and up to date with important notes, contact information, and source codesAdditional ResponsibilitiesComplete other fundraising tasks as assigned by the Deputy Finance Director and Finance DirectorAssist the candidate and larger campaign team in staffing and other needs as assignedQualificationsFundraising experience is preferred, but not requiredExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage several projects in a fast-paced environment and be responsive to timely needsAbility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends as requiredHighly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skillsSalary & BenefitsThe salary for this position is $6,000-$7,000 a month commensurate with experience.Anticipated start date: ASAPTo apply: Please email your resume and a 2 references to with the subject line "Application for Finance Assistant – (Your Name)."
